Hogia’s software success story continues
Hogia is reporting its twentieth consecutive year of profit. The last four years have generated the largest profits ever in the company’s 30-year-old history. Since 2007 Hogia has increased sales by an average of 2.7 million Euro per year, increased its workforce by an average of 25 persons per year and generated an average profit of 2.7 million Euro per year.
All lines of business are showing positive development including Hogia’s financial and payroll software as well as Hogia’s complete industry solutions for transport and logistics, construction and property management, trading, etc.

Risavika´s new container operation goes Hogia
Port of Risavika is a newly established port & terminal operator outside Stavanger and Norway's largest ongoing port investment. The port started up its operations in the end of last year and at the same time deployed IT systems from Hogia and Seamless. Now Risavika moves into the next phase and starts a container operation by receiving calls from Maersk’s container vessels. The first call was on Sunday May 2nd and the operation went very smoothly from the start thanks to a strong team with visions and know-how.

The three best years ever
The three last years have produced the best results ever in Hogia’s history. We have defied financial crisis and recession, increased our turnover with nearly 100 million SEK and increased our staff with 80 new employees. Noteworthy is that during 2008 and 2009, both financially critical years, we reached the best results ever, 28 million SEK per year.

Katrineholm Rail Point goes with Hogia
Katrineholm Logistics Center is currently one of the largest logistics investments in Sweden. Katrineholm is situated in the region of Lake Mälaren with an excellent strategic position in the cross between the south and west main rail road corridors in Sweden. Fully developed Katrineholm Logistics Center will have two rail terminals serving an area of 100 hectares of logistics activities.

Port of Risavika, Seamless and Hogia in new unique port investment
Port of Risavika is a newly established port outside Stavanger and Norway's largest ongoing port investment. IT revolution on combi terminals is to lead to more freight by rail
Modern IT solutions are to provide more efficient terminal operations on combi terminals and thereby lead to more freight being transported by rail. Hogia has recently become a supplier of IT systems for Jernhusen’s terminals. The system can integrate multiple additional systems, thus creating a new IT standard for Swedish intermodal transports.

Port of Södertälje deploys a solution from Hogia
The Port of Södertälje strives to be the natural hub in the Stockholm area and have been successful in this respect. Today, their operation includes frequent services with both vessels and rail shuttles. This makes the port an efficient hub for the transfer of goods between sea, rail and trucks. This year they have battled recession by finding new export volumes and taking market shares from competing terminals. In April they scored a new monthly record by handling 6200 TEU’s.

Hogia’s Paper Logistics solution in Port of Gothenburg
Paper Logistics Centre in Port of Gothenburg is doing cross docking activities for Stora Enso, Billerud and Korsnäs Frövi. The total volume handled today is 100.000 metric tonnes annually. The paper reels are transported from each mill in SECU boxes, Stora Ensos own mega-sized standard containers. For all inter-European shipments the SECU boxes are transported from Gothenburg on RoRo vessels to Zeebrügge and Tilbury where the paper is re-loaded into trailers and railwaggons. But for overseas shipments there has to be a re-loading already in Gothenburg from SECU box to normal 20’ or 40’ containers which then are transshipped onto ocean-going vessels or feeders to continental port.
